Niels Skov
Chief Executive Officer
Bringing strategic leadership, commercial expertise and strong governance to drive TTC’s continued growth.
Niels brings more than three decades of international experience across business leadership, sales, consulting, transformation and commercial strategy. He has extensive experience scaling and transforming businesses across the UK, US and European markets.
Having previously served as Chairman of TTC’s Advisory Board, Niels now leads the business as CEO. He brings a strong focus on sustainable growth, operational excellence, optimised leadership and governance, and long-term client relationships.
His experience includes more than 15 years working with private equity-owned businesses. This has given him deep insight into business transformation, performance improvement, and building organisations for sustainable success.
At TTC, Niels combines strategic perspective with a practical, people-focused approach. He helps ensure the company continues to deliver trusted, professional, and highly responsive security, protection, and support services.
A family-oriented person, Niels is also passionate about giving back and supporting others. He has more than ten years’ experience in career, leadership and life coaching. He also actively supports charitable initiatives that help families facing challenging circumstances.
Christopher Mottershead
Managing Director
Setting the standard through transparency and expertise to safeguard people, property, and trust.
With nearly ten years of experience as a police constable, Christopher brings extensive expertise in organised crime and high-pressure incidents. As Managing Director, he applies this experience with calm authority, supporting TTC’s commitment to safety, compliance, and professional standards.
His credentials include high-level CTC clearance, an SIA Close Protection licence, and a renewed Section 2 firearms licence. These qualifications reflect his continued commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.
At TTC, Christopher believes in leaving nothing to chance. He helps ensure that every close protection officer and specialist deployed meets the company’s strict standards. This supports the delivery of consistently high-quality service across personal and home security, executive protection, and hostile environment assignments.
Through his experience and expertise, Christopher plays an important role in maintaining TTC’s standards and delivering the level of service clients and partners expect.
Courtney Greensmith
Director of Operations

With over a decade of close protection experience, Courtney has supported diplomats, royalty, and senior executives in complex and high-risk environments. His frontline experience brings a calm, practical approach to coordinating teams and delivering effective security solutions.
His professional background includes leading teams in Northern Iraq, supporting UK royalty protection, and working across hostile environments worldwide. He is certified in close protection and risk management, with a strong focus on delivering flexible and reliable security and concierge services.
At TTC, Courtney helps ensure that every assignment is carefully coordinated and that only trusted professionals who meet the company’s rigorous standards represent the business. His focus is simple: keeping clients safe, confident, and fully supported in every situation.

Peter Terry QPM serves as Senior Advisor at TTC, bringing extensive leadership experience from UK policing and national security. He is the former Deputy Assistant Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police, where he led intelligence, tasking, and operations, and he also served as Deputy Chief Constable of the Ministry of Defence. His expertise includes crisis management, preparedness and resilience planning, public order, and event security—supporting clients with trusted guidance in complex, high-risk environments.
Charlotte Ayre
Head of Marketing

With a background in non-profit administration, Becky keeps the team, clients, and events coordinated and on track, managing processes and maintaining systems that underpin the company’s daily operations. She also invigilates our training centre exams, ensuring standards are upheld and assessments run smoothly. Becky’s attention to detail and collaborative approach ensures colleagues and clients receive reliable, high-quality support at every stage.
